TMZ reported Saturday that Vivid Entertainment had been contacted by Spencer Pratt, the soon-to-be ex-husband of newly made blonde bombshell Heidi Montag, with an offer to meet and discuss terms on the sale of an alleged sex tape video starring Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.  Although TMZ confirmed that Vivid and Spencer Pratt had talked, the  existence of the sex tape video could not be confirmed.

“I just got off the phone with Spencer Pratt about a sex tape with Heidi Montag,” Steven Hirsch, president of Vivid Entertainment told TMZ.  He added, “We are in early negotiations to possibly come to terms for a deal.”

But is there really such a sex tape?  It isn’t as if Spencer Pratt isn’t above leading people to believe that a sex tape video might exist even when it does not.  It has long been suspected that Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag were behind the rumor that a sex tape video existed of former “The Hills” co-star Lauren Conrad.

Still, even if a sex tape exists, the material may not contain Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.  The Internet is already abuzz with speculation, many questioning whether or not the female in the tape is Montag, who has been estranged from Pratt since June.  Fueling the speculation is Heidi Montag’s threat to sue Pratt over a proposed tell-all book, a threat that did not include any mention of a sex tape video.

But if there is such a sex tape video, it might be one for which Vivid would be in the market.  A friend of Pratt’s told TMZ that the action of the sex tape “makes Kim Kardashian look like an amateur.”

Spencer Pratt says he has a sex tape video starring his estranged wife Heidi Montag — and himself.  TMZ reported Saturday that Spencer Pratt was indeed shopping around a sex tape of his wife (and himself).  He had been in contact with Vivid Entertainment, the same company that had successfully marketed the sex tape videos of Kendra Wilkinson, Pamela Anderson, Shauna Sand, Mindy McCreedy, and, most recently, the adult film debut of Montana Fishburne.  Vivid had nearly single-handedly launched the careers of Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton.  And now Spencer Pratt had reached out to the self-proclaimed world’s largest adult video company with an alleged sex tape of his (and allegedly Heidi Montag’s) own.

TMZ confirmed that attention-mongering Spencer Pratt had been in contact with Vivid.  Steven Hirsch, Vivid’s co-founder and president, told TMZ, “”I just got off the phone with Spencer Pratt about a sex tape with Heidi Montag.”

Hirsch added, “We are in early negotiations to possibly come to terms for a deal.”

It is unclear if the alleged sex tape was shot before or after Heidi Montag’s extensive cosmetic surgeries.

According to TMZ, a friend of Spencer Pratt’s said that the alleged sex tape video “makes Kim Kardashian look like an amateur.”

Has Kim Kardashian become the standard by which all amateur sex tapes are now measured?

Regardless, if the sex tape actually exists, Vivid Entertainment could be marketing another high-profile sex tape within months.  But the question will no doubt surface, much as it has during the supposed break-up and divorce of Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag:  How much of it is real and true; how much of it is media manipulation and outright lies?  Could the two have planned this break-up sex tape scenario just to heighten the drama and direct attention their way?

Given their history, it is doubtful that anyone would put it past them…

“Whoa!” Detroit radio DJ Shannon Murphy had a dream-filled day as she co-hosted “Live! With Regis and Kelly” and got a kiss — and that fore-mentioned catchphrase — from actor/former teen idol Joey Lawrence on Tuesday morning.

Murphy, of Detroit’s 95.5 FM Mojo In The Morning Show, won the opportunity to co-host with Regis Philbin after a nationwide contest: Women In Radio Co-Host For A Day Search. She was one of four female radio personalities who got the gig while regular co-host Kelly Ripa is off this week.  The other winners (Jayde Donovan of XL 106.7 FM in Orlando, Kristin Cruz of KOST 103.5 FM in Los Angeles, and Jenn Hobby of Q100 in Atlanta) will co-host Wednesday through Friday.

A very cheerful Murphy represented Detroit and Michigan in a positive light, and even presented Regis with a Detroit Tigers baseball jersey with “Regis” and “955” on the back (for her radio station 95.5 FM with Mojo In The Morning).  It was also perfect timing as the Detroit Tigers beat the New York Yankees the night before in a nail-biting game.

Guests on “Live! With Regis and Kelly” for Tuesday were actress Emma Thompson, “So You Think You Can Dance” winner Lauren Froderman, and of course heart throb Joey Lawrence. 

When it came time to interview Lawrence, Murphy mentioned she had a little crush on him growing up (which, as a fan of Joey Lawrence myself, I was glad she was there to represent fans watching from home).  She had a poster of the “Blossom” star in her bedroom, which she said she used to use to practice kissing.

And Murphy, who was warned by her Mojo In The Morning colleagues (Mojo, Spike) not to do so, brought up Lawrence’s infamous “Whoa!” catchphrase as Joey Russo on “Blossom.”  As a fan, I was happy she brought  it up because then Lawrence briefly explained how the catchphrase got started (originally supposed to be in “surfer” style).

They also talked about “Melissa and Joey,” Lawrence’s new sitcom with Melissa Joan Hart for ABC Family. The two previously starred together in the ABC Family movie “My Fake Fiance” (so obviously the network and producers saw the great on-screen chemistry that I saw with Lawrence and Hart have in the movie, and created a TV show.)

So back to the interview, Philbin asked Lawrence if he would give Murphy a real kiss (as opposed to the poster of him she used to kiss), in which they agreed to kiss on the cheek (Lawrence is a married father of two, and Murphy’s boyfriend was in the audience). But after the kiss, the real treat was Lawrence yelling out “Whoa!” which fans, and hopefully Murphy, were very grateful for (most stars do not want to recite their catchphrases over and over).

So Joey Lawrence, thanks for humoring your fans with your catchphrase!  And Shannon Murphy, thanks for letting us live vicariously through you! Co-hosting with Regis Philbin on national TV and a kiss and a “Whoa!” from Joey Lawrence … not bad for a day’s work!  “Whoa!”

The “Teen Choice Awards 2010″ may not air on Fox until Monday (tonight), but the surfboard awards were given out last night in Hollywood.  Find out who won below.

The “Teen Choice Awards 2010″ were hosted by singer Katy Perry and co-hosted by the guys from “Glee” (Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Cory Monteith, and Mark Salling).  They were held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Ca.

The “Teen Choice Awards 2010″ will air on Fox on Monday night, but fans can get a sneak peek at the stars with a live webcast of the red carpet at the event, which is actually held on Sunday night (and taped to air on Monday).

Just when Laurence Fishburne probably thought the news about his daughter, Montana, couldn’t get any worse, headlines Thursday announcing that his daughter had been arrested for violating California penal code 647 (b), or prostitution, hit the Internet. Not only had Montana “Chippie D” Fishburne been trying to jump-start her career through making a high-profile adult film through Vivid Entertainment and some mass market sex tapes through other production methods, she apparently even managed to get herself arrested for solicitation.  Montana Fishburne told TMZ that her father was “upset” about the sex tape, which he had known nothing about.  Wonder how angry he became after finding out about the prostitution charge…

According to Carlton Jordan, an investigative blogger, Montana Fishburne was arrested in November 2009, the day before Thanksgiving.  Jordan posted the public documents on his website.

According to the documents, if they are genuine, Montana Fishburne was arrested on November 25 and charged with solicitation.  After two continuances, she finally pleaded nolo contendre and was sentenced to 104 hours towards the California beautification project, 15 days of community service, an AIDS test, STD education, and two years probation.  Her official status reads: On probation.

If the information on CarltonJordan.com is authentic, it is quite a scoop.  It would be the second such scoop in the Montana Fishburne saga, for Jordan’s website seems to have also been the source of Media Take Out‘s scoop that Montana “Chippie D” Fishburne had done sex tapes before the Vivid film.

Laurence Fishburne is finding out that you cannot control what your children do once they’re of the age of majority, something he is learning as his 19-year-old daughter, Montana, announces her first starring role — as “Chippy D” in a “thrill-sex” sex tape for Vivid Entertainment.  Montana Fishburne and Vivid, the same company responsible for distributing the high-profile sex tapes of Kendra Wilkinson and Kim Kardashian, announced Friday that the sex tape would be released on August 18.  In fact, Montana Fishburne notes that it was Kim Kardashian’s success that prompted her to attempt becoming famous via a sex tape.

In the Vivid press release, Fishburne said: “I’ve watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape by Vivid. I’m hoping the same magic will work for me. I’m impatient about getting well-known and having more opportunities and this seemed like a great way to get started on it.”

She’s impatient, so she is releasing a “thrill-sex” XXX porn movie…

Laurence Fishburne, her father, is an Oscar and Emmy nominated, Tony winning actor of stage and screen, noted for his performances in movies like “Mrs. Evers Boys” and “The Matrix” trilogy.  Montana apparently feels that she doesn’t have time to work on such a resume, one that includes “Apocalypse Now,” “Boyz In The Hood,” “Hoodlum,” “The Color Purple,” “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” and “Tuskegee Airmen.”

She might not have time to build the resume, but she will certainly use her father’s famous name to launch her career.  The title of the sex tape video?  “Montana Fishburne: An A-List Actor’s Daughter Makes Her XXX Debut.”

Is this the new pathway to Hollywood success?  Montana “Chippy D” Fishburne seems to think so.

One wonders what the man who starred in “Othello” and “Fences” is thinking concerning his daughter right about now…

A special announcement about additions to the cast of the highly anticipated superhero movie, “The Avengers,” was made by Robert Downey Jr. (a.k.a Iron Man) during Comic-Con 2010 in San Diego this weekend.

Mark Ruffalo will play Bruce Banner (a.k.a. The Hulk) and Jeremy Renner will play Hawkeye; and director Joss Whedon will bring the Marvel Comics superhero team to the big screen.  

Downey Jr. was announced on stage during Marvel’s Comic-Con panel by Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury in the Marvel movies.  They appeared with the other actors who will play the other Avengers, including Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow). The cast announcement was met by a standing ovation.

The movie is slated for a 2012 release.

Among the sea of Stormtroopers and die-hard comic fans, celebrities also come out to celebrate Comic-Con in San Diego (and perhaps promote their movie, TV show, etc., of course!)

Stars of some popular TV shows, mostly those of a science fiction nature, will be on-hand.  The cast of CBS’s “The Big Bang Theory,” which highlights the lives of four comic-loving, nerdy, but loveable guys (at least in my opinion) will be back (Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, and Kaley Cuoco).  The cast of HBO’s “True Blood” will also appear, as well as the the creators of the children’s pop-culture show, “Yo Gabba Gabba.”

Members of the cast of the upcoming movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (opens August 13) will help kick off the 22nd annual Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards on Friday night at Comic-Con.  Cast members scheduled to appear include Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Satya Bhabha, Alison Pill, Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman, Johnny Simmons, Mark Webber, Mae Whitman, and Ellen Wong.

Actress Lindsay Lohan was in tears when a judge sentenced her to 90 days in prison on Tuesday.
