The photos of the attack on reality show star Tila Tequila over the weekend at an Insane Clown Posse concert event, provided by Tequila to TMZ, showed a bleeding, abrazed, and bruised young woman. Â Now a video of the attack has surfaced that reveals Tila Tequila getting pelted with flying objects, at first oblivious to the flying missiles, removing her blouse. It is clear to see in the short video how the attention-mongering, topless Tequila sustained some of her injuries, but the drama queen’s story still may be a bit exaggerated.
Tila Tequila had been invited to appear at the 11th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos in Illinois when things, according to a local police official, “got out of hand.” Â A stabbing had just occurred and the crowd had become rowdier when the police arrived to arrest the perpetrator and get the victim to safety and to the hospital. Â Police were still on hand when Tila Tequila was attacked.
She told TMZ that the Juggalos were “trying to kill” her. Â She said she hadn’t made it to the stage (obviously not true, as the video reveals, but perhaps she was making the finer point that the object-throwing began before she made the stage) when the crowd of unruly fans began throwing large rocks, bottles, and even human waste at her. Â She then ran to a nearby trailor which the mob quickly surrounded, breaking out the windows, continuing their attack. Â She claims that “two thousand” Juggalos attacked the trailor.
As with many stories offered by Tila Tequila, the melodrama is thick and possibly inaccurate. Â However, part of her story is true. Â In the short video posted to YouTube, a topless Tila Tequila is being rained upon by numerous flying objects.
But what seems to have provoked the crowd into such an action? Â Was it the mob mentality made restless when the unwanted police officers entered their midst? Â Was it adrenalin overflow from both the police infiltration and the violence that had seen a man stabbed? Â Was it a confluence of events — the horrorcore rap, the violent lyrics, the anticipation of hyped fans waiting to see Insane Clown Posse, the stabbing, the appearance of unwanted authority, the appearance of a despised poser (an example of which Tila Tequila would certainly qualify) — that set off the Gathering of the Juggalos? Or was it something Tila Tequila said? Â Was going topless, then waving her blouse, like waving a cape at an angry bull?
No doubt there will be much more on this story by a non – topless Tila Tequila — and many more videos as well…
